Nathan x Gilbert

Gil stopped for a few moments to catch his breath, also realizing that his current attempts at dislodging the other man weren't working so well. He was pretty sure Nate was serious this time, but he was feeling ornery right now, and had completely forgotten all about there having been a question that started all of this. Which meant the only options in his mind was somehow dissuade the man. Which was becoming harder and harder to think about as those hands and hips kept moving. "You're the one whose being stubborn!" He growled softly, sucking at persuading people, particularly when he'd been distracted from the whole point. He turned away from the kiss, though a small part of him would have liked to just go with it. Probably the little horny bit that was building from all this rubbing. "How about you just get off!" He shoved the other man strongly, growling again.

Nate decided to try another tactic, sliding off without any much prompting, and slipping over to the food. "Well alright then grumpy." He pointed to it and smiled, "There's your food, eat." Then turned and settled on the bed with his usual journal, going back to scribbling away, even though he really wasn't much enthused to do so. Not that he had fallen victim to his own method, but because he really just had nothing to write about for the moment. Bullshitting his way through it was always a great way to pass the time though, so he simply read over some of his old things and added a few footnotes here and there.

Gil blinked a few times as he suddenly found himself free of the weight on his hips, taking a few moments to register it before he snapped out of it and snatched for his clothes, pulling them on quickly while muttering to himself, keeping an eye on the other man and sure he was up to something, just not quite sure what. He moved slowly over to the food, pulling out his portion and frowning down at it without much interest. He was bothered in more than one way, and he hadn't really been hungry -before- Nate started harassing him. He huffed softly and took a disinterested bite, looking even more dour.

Nathan continued to sketch away at the book, for a few moments, he said nothing. He looked up a second and noticed Gilbert looking quite dour, sighing and getting up, walking into the bathroom. "You know you can fix this Gil." He told the other man, Gil would probably break before he did. Nathan was too honed by the Baskervilles for much of anything else. Let alone guilt. "You know, it'd be nice to take a shower together, but you're too mad at me." He mumbled out, knowing the other would hear him anyway.

Gil poked dully at the food in front of him, his eyes mostly glancing towards Nathan over and over before following his progress into the bathroom, frowning at his words. He didn't know what the heck he was after at this point, other than of course him just giving in, and that just bugged him. He poked at the food some more, his fork stopping halfway into stabbing a bit of ravioli at the mention of a shower, his brow furrowing a bit in confusion, among other things. As Nathan was pretty much expecting, this was doing much more to his resistance than the threat of getting screwed did by far. He wasn't sure about much of anything anymore, other than the fact -he- was feeling bad when it was Nathan who had been harassing him! He huffed and dropped his head on the table, avoiding the food. "you don't make any sense..." he was being pretty quiet himself and just as sure that Nathan would hear him.

Nathan listened to the other for a moment before folding his shirt and leaving it on the counter, his gold eyes never once leaving from his task of undressing. "I might make no sense, but you're being stubborn for a silly reason, do you even remember anymore?" He turned and started the shower, humming all the while, he was pretty sure the Nightray had completely forgotten about it at this point. After all, it had been quite a while since he had last specifically prodded for the answer he had wanted originally. Which was just to hear the other tell him a bit about himself. All in all, the argument that Gil was trying to keep going was pointless and stupid. He slid out of his shoes after a few moments and came over to poke his head around to notice that Gil hadn't initially moved yet. "Shower's still open if you're interested, this is all a bit silly to me." He stated before slipping back around and into the shower, his pants folded on top of the shirt.

Gil winced a bit at the question, since he indeed had been far too flustered and distracted to have even the slightest clue what had set him off anymore. Which was even worse than somehow this all turning into a mess because of it. He closed his eyes and sighed heavily, feeling shitty and hating himself for being so stubborn and ruining what had been a wonderful time with someone he...liked. A blush came to his face just at the memory of that revelation and he finally slowly moved. Just the thought of taking a shower with him embarrassed him greatly, but if it settled whatever idiocy was going on well...it would be worth it. He slunk into the bathroom, trying to be small and unnoticeable, which was pretty impossible for him, and slowly started stripping, turning more and more red by the second.

Nathan in the meanwhile was working diligently at his hair, refusing to pop his head out of the shower, because he really wasn't even paying it much attention anymore. He hummed along with the song stuck in his head, in a perfectly fine mood in spite of Gil's sour attitude earlier. It took a lot more than that to really get him going. Instead he just kept scrubbing at his head, shutting his eyes and sighing in relief as the dirty feeling left his head. He sometimes felt inhuman if he let it go too long without washing it. Which was completely understandable, after all, it was pretty amusing to watch him act like he was smaller than he was, Gilbert that was. He sighed contently and settled down, washing the soap slowly from his hair, he scrubbed it several times before he was done most of the time, seeing as there was so much of it, it was usually necessary.

It took him much longer than it would normally to undress, but eventually he was done and he had no more reason to delay. He slowly moved towards the shower and slipped in the back, staying awkwardly away from Nate and of course not getting any actual showering done. About all he was doing was looking adorably pathetic, small, and blushing like freaking mad. And staring at Nate's hair, because it was freaking amazing and exceptionally mesmerizing when being moved around that much. Or at any time for that matter.

Nathan hummed as he continued to mess with his hair, finally glancing over his shoulder at the other man, who was looking much like an embarrassed child rather than a 24 year old. "Well, you coming or what?" he asked, giving him an interesting look, "you won't be able to wash from over there." He then turned back to his work, so that he wouldn't make things anymore awkward for the young man. For a few moments he didn't say anything more, but as he realized that the other seemed to grow a bit less uneasy, humming softly to himself. "You know, it's nice not being alone anymore." he stated suddenly, not feeling any particular sadness, even though the statement itself was fairly sad. He just kept washing through his hair, letting his hands work on the strands and get all the dirt that may have been there out.

Gil let out a slightly muffled squeak at finally being noticed and talked to, waiting for Nate to turn around before he timidly scooted forward so he could partake in some of the water. It was hard to believe he was the same man who was being so disagreeable earlier. He slowly started working on himself, jumping when Nate just suddenly spoke again, his eyes widening a bit. He wanted to feel sorry for him, but he said it so...nonchalantly. He didn't like it at all. It...reminded him of Vincent sometimes too. He frowned and looked down guiltily for a few moments before suddenly wrapping his arms around the other man tightly from behind, his emotion blinding him to both of their nakedness for the moment. "I-I..." He mumbled shakily, not even quite sure what he was trying to say.

Nathan glanced over his shoulder curiously, wondering for once, just what he was trying to get out. Was he trying to apologize? And if so, it was probably not to him. He reached up and stroked his hair gently, resting his head against the others as best he could. He wasn't quite sure what to do about the whole thing regarding Gilbert's previous endeavor, but watching him nearing tears because of something Nathan had said, did not set well with the other man. He couldn't help but disregard his own feelings, because it was just the way he had always been. He didn't like asking for much help, other people usually didn't matter much to him. However, Gilbert was special, and for a moment in his life, he felt honored to know the young man. "You shouldn't apologize...nor worry." he stated calmly, putting his hand over the others arm. "Everything is done for a reason. Things shall unfold as they see fit, and for the reasons that they need to be." he glanced over at him. "You're not at fault for anything...nor am I."

Gil frowned lightly as he started speaking, still not liking this unusual calm about him. He felt like there -should- be something wrong. He honestly...did not know what to do with someone who -didn't- have issues. Or at least, any huge gaping ones like every single other person he hung around with had. He was just so...baffling, and his expression showed his confusion well. "You make it sound like we should just sit back and let the world take care of everything..." Or something like that. He really was so confused.

Nathan just stared at the other man for a moment or two longer before chuckling faintly. "Wellll if you want it to go rot in hell in it's own waste filled filth, then of course!" He stated cheerfully, before he squared his shoulders. "however, that's not what I meant at all. What I meant was, simply that you should stop worrying so much. Which is near impossible to ask of you but hey, I've been surprised before right?" He nearly laughed then and turned to face the young man, wrapping his arms around his waist and nuzzling, not at all interested in the others naked body, just more in the affectionate man himself. The shower water was just the right temperature it seemed, and the scholarly genius was feeling rather contented.

Gil sweat-dropped a bit, taken aback by his bluntness, and cheerfulness all mixed into one. He listened quietly, blushing faintly an his wounds and dropping his head, still confused and somewhat ashamed now. He almost had a bit of a pout on his face as the other man turned around, adjusting his arms and holding onto him geintly, feeling that fuzzy feeling start to return. "I c-can try.." He muttered with a blush.

Nathan chuckled softly and wrapped his arms around the other a bit tighter, smiling up at him brightly. "Good, that makes me happy that you'll at least attempt the effort." He handed Gil the shampoo bottle a second later and turned his head back around. "Now how about helping me better wash my hair mn?" he asked staying perfectly still and starting to scrub at his arms and torso, waiting for the other man to start on his head, knowing that some part of Gil would like very much to do so. He sighed contently as he allowed the hot water to soak over his body, humming all the while. "Oh hey Gil, do you sing at all?" He asked randomly, just his hyperactive and adorable self now that he was semi-calm and not thinking ninety miles a minute.

Gil blinked for a few moments and stared down at the shampoo when he was initially handed it, feeling a bit of a rush at the suggestion -he- wash it. He was very much fascinated with that hair and had not really had a chance to touch it yet so this...was a much bigger event in his mind than it perhaps should have been. Regardless, it took him a few moments before he finally reached out to run a hand through that hair, just enjoying the feeling for a few moments before getting somewhat down to work, pausing in surprise as the question and blushing lightly. "A-ah...some." He was decent, but he didn't exactly have a lot of time or interest in singing.

Nathan chuckled softly in spite of himself, he had said he wouldn't get attached to Gilbert, but it was getting exceeding harder. He was cuter than hell for one, he cared about him, a Baskerville for another, and he was exceptionally entertaining and kept Nathan always thinking. He would have turned and latched onto him if he hadn't of offered to let him wash his hair, instead settled there and staring off at the wall. "I'd like to hear you sometime." He stated before glancing over his shoulder at the other man. Curious as to what he sounded like, though he was much more alert to the hands in his hair than he let on, not in a perverted manner, but the sort that was musing.

Gil was slow and careful in his work on Nathans hair, not because he was trying to keep touching it for as long as possible, but because it was such fine hair and he wanted to do his best job for it and Nathan. So he was making absolutely sure that it would be sparkling when he was done, though he did get somewhat distracted when he spoke again and flushed. "I-I'm n-not t-that good..." He was that bad, but of course Gilbert was very self depreciating and since he was around his brother who sang -amazingly- he put himself down even more. He ran his hands through that hair carefully a few more times before nudging him around a bit so he could start rising it out now.

Nathan stared over his shoulder at the other for a moment, smirking in a few more moments of thought, before turning and wrapping his arms around his waist, nuzzling his chest since it was the farthest he could reach. He purred a bit and continued to rub his cheek against that soft smooth skin, glancing up at the man who had been rather kind to him for the longest time. "You're too cute, Gilbert." he murmured, enjoying having someone else wash his hair for him, and it was even better since it was someone he felt relatively safe around.

Gil startled a bit when the other man suddenly turned around and latched onto him, a slightly stronger blush coming to his face as that -feeling- suddenly overwhelmed him again. He very much wanted to hug onto him or...something else which made him blush even more. And he just seemed so fascinated with his chest, which was somewhat awkward considering there was a huge ugly scar running down it. He sort of managed to relax and start rinsing the hair, at least until Nathan spoke yet again, at which point he turned a rather impressive shade of red and started working a bit faster on this rinsing from his flusteredness.

Nathan wrapped his arms around the man a little tighter, chuckling when he just rinsed all the faster at his words, noticing the horrendously adorable blush over his face. "Ah? What's wrong Gil?" He wondered if him being latched onto him like this was bothering him at all. "Should I let go?" He asked with a tilt of his head, if he was making the other uncomfortable it would be wise to do so, but he wasn't so sure he wasn't making him uncomfortable so much as he was just making him nervous and excited and jittery at the same time. "You're too tall, you know that?" He smirked, it would be very hard to get an advantage over him while they were standing up.

Gil mentally cursed his entirely too obvious blush and tried to will it away, with absolutely zero success. In fact it only became worse at him asking to let go, at which point he let out a rather interesting speak. "N-No! er..ye-uh..." He spluttered several times and tried to make a coherent sentence, blushing even more and completely oblivious to the fact that he was now clutching at Nathan rather possessively. "er..." He blinked a few times. "you're just too short." He mumbled, trying to regain some sense of..something other than embarrassment. He had almost said 'cute sized' but luckily had circumvented that one before it came out.

Nate huffed a bit when he was called short, "No you're just too freaking tall, Gillyweed." He chuckled before nuzzling his face into Gil's chest a little more with a soft purr, he could feel the possessiveness in the way he was hugging him, and just decided to stay where he was. Contented anyway to remain there, since the other man's body was nicely toned in a way that made him comfortable but firm. The young man obviously wouldn't be letting go any time soon, which was fine, Nathan could keep the water nice and hot until they were both ready to get out, and considering he liked really long showers, probably not for awhile.

Gil chuckled a bit, more able to deal with ragging at how tall he was, since he got that a lot. He was terribly tall, but there was no denying Nate was just a bit small as well. A slight tic started on his eye at what he called him though. "Why does everyone have to call me weird names!" He grumbled quietly, though he didn't let go of the other man. He was slowly becoming aware of it, but he found that he was really enjoying their position right now so he didn't let go until he finally remembered he was supposed to have been rinsing that hair out and started running his hands through it to make sure all the soap left with the water running through it.
