Break held back a moan in favor of purring at the bite, a very content kitty indeed. He chuckled softly and let his hand dance his way up the others arm. "I don't think any mousy just stands there but they still get eaten~" He smirked. "I'm always care" There was just the barest hint of hesitation all of a sudden, along with a dark shadow over his face that he did his best to ignore. "ful" It was easy to forget what a mess Break was sometimes, at least until the solid bantering surface suddenly dropped into the giant hole in the middle.

Vincent's eyes narrowed a bit and his arms tightened around him instantly, ever the present protective guardian, of course it had been wasted on his brother. He rested his head against Break's and let his hand twine into his hair. "I won't hurt you...and I'm always here for you." He reminded him quietly, pressing his lips to the others cheek softly, watching the broken man didn't set well with Vincent and once again his playful mind took a turn of a darker sort, promising all sorts of pain for his brother. He decided that poisoning wasn't good enough.

Break resisted that protectiveness for a moment, holding onto his attempt at an 'everything is fine' mask, before he gave in and slumped into his strong hold, feeling those disgusting tears threaten again, though this time it was as much from the old pain as the strangely heartbreaking feeling of having someone there who cared and was trying to fix it all. "I know..." He murmured at the other thickly, mentally adding 'but that doesn't change what an idiot i was'. He made mistake after mistake, and in that twisted part of his mind he was still blaming the whole mess on his act that started it. He wasn't still pining after Gilbert, but he did blame himself for the utter disaster the relationship was and setting himself up to be torn apart.

"You need a rest." Vincent stated coolly, "And by a rest, I mean a vacation." He bit his ear gently and licked up where he had, thinking silently about how he could have Gil brutally murdered while they were away, that way Break could not do anything to save his sorry excuse for a hide. He tilted his head up and kissed his lips softly and sincerely. "Nothing was your fault, my brother has always been an idiot." That level of bitterness just showed Break how deeply Vince had been hurt by him time and time again, he had once said 'Anything for Gil' and now the very thought left a foul taste in his mouth. He was going to make Gilbert sorry for ever having hurt ANY of them. From that point after, he was going to make the Baskervilles suffer, and then finally end the whole damn mess. That was pretty much what he planned to do. "It may seem stupid of me..." he murmured pressing his forehead to Break's again, "But I love you."

Break blinked a couple times before his eye widened some. It was one thing to take a day or two off to goof around, he always did that, but the idea of taking a real vacation made him uneasy and feeling like he'd be abandoning things only he could do. He only absently shivered at the bite, being torn in two directions by that soft, sweet kiss. Everything behind that kiss made him want to just...sink into Vincents arms and forget anything ever happened. The rest of him was overly duty bound. He dropped his head on his chest, almost in pain over the inner war, letting his eye drift closed as their foreheads touched, relaxing for just a moment until Vince finished with those little words. He froze for a second before his arms tightened almost painfully around the other. "A stupid move indeed..." His self hate was suddenly blooming to the surface. "to love one such as me..." He looked away, but instead of trying to move away he pressed closer against him. "but...I think I love you too..." How he didn't know, and he didn't trust his broken self enough to say for sure. He was such a mess he wasn't sure he really could.

Vincent pressed close against him and kissed his lips softly. "That's the best I've had." He stated honestly, pulling Break into his lap as he sat down, holding his waist and resting his head against his shoulder. "You hate yourself too much, I've done far worse things Xerxes. I'll be the first to admit, I don't particularly like myself...but the level of hatred isn't nearly as bad as yours." He started leaving soft kisses, his hands moving over him in a soothing way. "Forget it, let me be your focus, just until you can heal." In spite of what Xerxes may have thought, it was still possible to do so. Vincent had always been a bit darker minded, so of course he wouldn't say something stupid like 'you'll be okay'.

Break leaned against him tiredly, back in that dreary state but at least he wasn't resisting or going strait for something to do himself off with this time. He settled in his lap and went back to trying to have as much body contact as possible, looking rather dour as Vince attempted to cheer him up, though logically he knew that what Vincent said was likely true. They were incredibly similar in just about any way you could imagine, so long as you thought of the Sinclair family as his gilbert somewhat. He had always been one to blame himself terribly, and then take a great deal of work to pull out of it, this time was no different than when he'd been pulled out of the abyss. The love and attention, the physical sensations he was giving him was doing a lot to pull himself out of those thoughts at least. He dropped his head and shut his eye again, trying to make the adjustments. It would be good...to try and do what he said, at least somewhat. He sighed heavily and leaned into those touches, letting go for the moment and just letting all of himself focus on that which was between them. It as temporary , but it was a start. "Vince..." His murmured his name softly...brokenly, even desperately, as if he was the last thing in the world that he could hold onto.

Vincent smiled a bit and held the albino man closer to him, listening to him say his name in that desperate manner, cupping his face with his hands and pressing his forehead to the others. "Only I will stay by your side." He assured him, in his own twisted manner, Vincent was the type that would probably die for the one he loved, carve out his heart and hand it to them freely if they wanted it. Thankfully, he wasn't quite so stupid. He then lifted Break's chin with his fingers and kissed him deeply, giving to him what he could not in words. Silent promises. Things that couldn't be broken as easily as they were made. After all, he was completely and utterly devoted to Break, and now only Break. It would take a lot more now than ever, to tear him from his goal, and to tear him from the being he gave all of his love to. All of his devotion, all of his pain, all of his joy, and everything....belonged to Break.

Break slid open his eye slowly, his eye looking rather haunted. Break was somewhat like Oz in the fact he didn't much like believing in forevers but...in this case he had to, he wasn't pulling out of this on his own and that sort of doubt would eat him alive. He gave a deep lost sigh and dropped his eye closed again as he lost himself into the kiss. It was hard to believe the words, but every time he felt all that emotion behind one of those kisses he found he could believe it. He could feel that devotion wrapping around him in a soothing cocoon, though strangely enough he felt tears start to sneak out again. Just as well they were in the shower.

Tears shed from the other could not be hidden from the Nightray, though he pretended that he didn't notice, once again just holding the other and smothering him with love and attention. Kissing him as if Break were the only thing in the world that mattered, and to someone like Vincent, it might have been true. He pressed Break into the shower floor careful as not to harm him in the process, laying out over him and continuing to kiss him, draping his body along the Hatter's to give him as much of that bodily contact as he desired. The desperate man could probably have whatever he wanted and Vince would not bat an eyelash.

Break slowly started to pull himself out of the dark mood, holding onto the other man tight and heartily wishing he could just turn his brain off. He was too much of a tinker and a plotter, even durring sex he was far too often as busy thinking as he was fucking. He wedged himself against Vincent for every last possible inch of contact, putting all this effort into it only to suddenly relax, holding onto Vince with a soft sigh. Finally it seemed, he was somewhat content, nuzzling against him and returning the kisses with slight purrs. Eventually he shifted a bit and gave Vince a bit of a familiar grin. "Perhaps we should get out..it seems to be getting terribly cold." And poor Break was awfully vulnerable to it, even if he did have a nice warm body on top of him.

Vincent chuckled and got up from on top of the other man, being careful not to bump anything in the process, or rub in just a manner that would get them both going. He instead reached down and pulled him up from the shower floor, suddenly getting an idea. "My...I know what we should do now!" He wrapped the other man up in a soft fuzzy towel, already having placed his robe around himself. "We should go shopping and get you some nice things for around here, make you feel more homey." He kissed his cheek excitedly, having not quite always been Gilbert, whom despised shopping and trying on new things. No, Vincent instead loved new clothes and new things in general. Plus it gave him an excuse to devote more attention to the albino male who definitely needed it.

Break rather quickly got up, almost seeming to fly in the air even without Vincents help. He really did not like the cold, particularly once his source of warmth for up. "neh?" He tilted his head curiously at the suddenly exclamation, happy enough to be spoiled at this point, at least in being dried off in a nice towel by someone else. Predictably, he was purring ever so lightly, without even seeming to realize it, even while he was staring blankly at the other man while he thought the idea over. There was definitely something mind boggling about the idea of Nightray manor as 'homey' to him, but no less so than anything else that had happened in the past 24 hours. He didn't mind shopping or dressing up so much, though it was hard to feel excitement for it or much of anything else these days. He figured Vince could be excited for him and he'd work on it. It was really nice...to have someone he didn't have to pretend to be his cheerful normal self around. "Okay." He smiled almost cheerfully, or maybe more like fondly/thankfully.

Vincent smirked and wrapped his arms around the albino male tightly, nuzzling his face against the Hatter's, and for a few moments just stayed there. He was rather happily enjoying the attention he was giving Break, and even better since the man wasn't squirming, cursing, or trying to run away. He had despised Break like no other, but after seeing what his brother had done, instead of turning a blind eye, he'd had a change of heart. For a few moments he just held the other to him, then hummed cheerfully and helped him find an outfit that would make due until they could find him some better ones at the store. Then got dressed himself in more casual clothing, letting his hair hang loose like he normally did, humming as he went about gathering a few last minute things.

Break sighed contently, leaning back into the other man and nuzzling him back, seeming to take a great deal of strength and comfort from all of the affection and physical contact. It had been a long time since he'd been able to enjoy things like this, well before Gilbert ever game into his life. He huffed a bit at his temporary outfit, feeling much more inclined to go shopping since his usual stuff was quite dirty and he was left with this. He attempted to ignore it for the moment and instead turned to watch Vincent, a mix between admiring and gloomy, remembering the times when he'd watched the other brother just like this. He shook his head lightly to try and rid himself of the drearyness and slipped over to Vincent, catching his hair up and producing a tie out of nowhere. "You should put it up more often." He murmured softly as he tied it back.

Vincent blinked as his hair was tied back, brushing a bit of his bangs from his left eye, before he turned to smile at Break. "So you -do- like it pulled up." He wrapped his arms around the other man for a moment and kissed him on the lips, running his hands through his hair gently. "I can do that for you, if you want." He then pressed a softer kiss to the Hatter's forehead, turning and taking his hand in his own and leading him from the room. It was quite the surprise that the two of them had been getting along so well, but without the hatred between them, it wasn't that surprising. "Did you need anything from the Rainsworth manor? We can stop by there if you do."

"Of course I do." Break was acting just a bit gruff, perhaps about as embarrassed as he got since he was expressing an honest preference rather than in tease like crazy mode. It was worth it for the extra attention though and he once again broke into pleased purrs, never getting enough of their kisses or how much Vincent touched him, willingly and everywhere. It was very much the reaction of an attention starved man. Among other things. "You need more variety in what you do with your hair anyway." He followed after Vince, alive enough to feel a bit bothered by his almost childlike trailing and move forward so they were more even. He frowned at the question and though for a few moments before shaking his head. He didn't have much in the way of possessions, or attachments to them, most of it was clothes and he had his cane with him. They were going to get more clothes now, there was no point in going back now, when he would run into...Gil. Who had probably been worried and acting like a moron, and would get all upset if he knew what he was doing. Break tightened his hand around Vinces, banishing one brother from his mind with another, instead focusing on how wonderful this morning and their sex had been, and what amazing chemistry they had when they didn't have reason to want to kill each other.

Vincent led Break out into the carriage, settling on the seat next to him, and watching the estate get further and further away. For what seemed like eternity he was silent, before turning and wrapping his arms around Break, nuzzling close with a soft purr. He pulled his lover closer and thought about things that had been bothering him in the past, how he could not find it in his heart to forgive the brother that had hurt so many people with his stupidity. The one day Gil had come home to tell Vincent that he -forgave- him. Was just too much for Vincent to really bare, he could forgive easily, Gilbert could...but Vincent himself was not so good at forgiving. "Break!" he suddenly sounded animated, burying his face in the other man's neck and nuzzling. "Let's go out for lunch too."

Break half closed his eyes as he leaned lazily against Vince, supposedly watching the scenery but very much lost in his own thought, having only done a so so job of putting his thoughts back on a more pleasant track. He came out of it a little when he felt arms slip around him, making a soft purr of content in response and snuggling up against him, looking vaguely sulky and still not very much actually there. He abruptly snapped back into paying full attention when he suddenly heard his name however, his head startling to a more strait position, giving Vince plenty of room while he blinked a few times in confusion, seeming alert but at the same time melting at his touch. "That sounds like a good idea.." He smiled lightly and wrapped his own arms around Vince, pulling them even tighter together while he nuzzled against his hair with a content sigh.

Vincent chuckled softly at Break's response, humming in joy when he pressed closer, and letting his hands slowly stroke through the man's soft hair. He was actually very relaxed with the Hatter this close, it was like they almost seemed to be the perfect match when they weren't trying to kill each other. He felt a wave of dizzy and frowned, fighting against Yamane in spite of his need to just drop onto Break's lap and sleep. He managed to keep the mouse from overcoming him this time, holding back a yawn with his hand. He wasn't going to give up so easily, the Doormouse would just have to wait until he sought a convenient time to do so. "I sleep enough.." he pouted, squishing Break closer. He hated the fact that the one thing he couldn't do amazingly aside from cook was the inability to control his chain well.

Break smiled faintly in amusement, feeling a bit of dissonance at the idea that his closeness was making the once sewer rat so happy. But only a bit, because it was so very nice to have someone who loved paying attention to his chair and otherwise very affectionate. It was a match for his own exceptional needs for affection, even more so now that all this crap had happened. He gave a little 'oof' as he was squished and gave a bit of a chuckle, reaching up to pet the other mans head. "There are worse places~"

Vincent pouted a bit and crossed his arms over his chest for the briefest of moments before he wrapped his arms around the others waist again and huffed. "I don't want to sleep..." he almost whined, resting his head on Xerxes' lap and feeling the waves of drowsiness threaten again, but he was comfortable there so he fought against it. He didn't want to take a nap, he did that too much damnit. The thought of sleeping on Break's lap was a nice and quite appealing one, but he instead settled for cuddling and doing his best to fight against it until of course it finally subsided and he was just smothering the other in his usual shower of affection. "It's odd...and yet it makes perfect sense. . . how things came to this. Did you ever think of me as anything more than a rat while you hated me?" He didn't move from his spot.

Break chuckled softly again, his hand never moving from it's gentle petting of Vince, the other arm pulling him closer until he was entirely on his lap, at which point it was a little hard. He closed his eye and settled back against the seat, enjoying the silence and especially the cuddling, wanting to just smother the other man to death. They really were quite the pair. "Neh?" Break blinked his eye open, looking a little annoyed at having to make his brain work, surprisingly enough not too bothered about talking about this sort of thing. "mmm Let's see~" He tilted his head. "I suppose you could say that. Since I blamed you for everything it was a sort of backhanded compliment on your abilities." He glanced down at the other with just a hint of a dark smile and a sharp look. "I suspect I wasn't too far off the mark either~"

Vince looked up at the other, reaching up and putting his hand to his cheek, a smile spreading over his face. "Even the darkest jewel can shine with beauty." He let his hand slide to his chin, his smirk never wavering as he did so, he adored this man, even though they had once hated each other so thoroughly. He leaned up, using his arm for support and gently pressed his lips against Break's, only breaking it enough to speak against his lips. "Even the Mad Hatter, has an elegant dark beauty about him, that cannot be denied, as for your abilities, there isn't much of anyone else that can match me...save you." He purred and took his lips in another kiss, letting his hands slide into Break's hair and keeping himself from falling off at the same time, an elegance and balance that only Vince could manage aside from his lover.

Break let his eye half close at the touch on his face, letting the almost predatory look about him die rather quickly. "Mmmm." He chuckled and happily returned the kiss, more than happy to stay doing that indefinitely, though at the compliment towards him his grin had spread quite wide. "You aren't modest at all~" He purred darkly and wrapped his arms around the others waist, keeping him close and resisting the temptation to start up something dirty right now, instead just enjoying his closeness and attention.
