Thief x Break Empty
PostSubject: Thief x Break   Thief x Break EmptyMon Apr 11, 2011 10:55 pm

Thief x Break Gil4e

"Stop thief!" A shout echoed through the corridors as men in boots rushed after a stranger covered in a cloak, his feet were swifter, echoing nothing but quiet rain, almost as if he could reproduce the sound to muffle his steps. Though instead, was just leaving a horrendous trail of slippery tile for the guards to slip on. He was a rouge, whom automatically disliked the Monarch of the Spade kingdom. The Thief of Hearts as a role holder was supposed to be as elusive as a shadow, though this one just adored messing with the guards. The Monarch was having a coronation party of some kind, and of course, Thief was taking every possible opportunity to make a mess. He pushed his back against the hard wall as a few guards rushed past his hiding spot, just between a bookshelf and the wall, before he slipped back out and headed for the nearest open window. "There he is!" he heard a shout behind him, before he dared and jumped out.

The drop was long and sudden, and when he hit the water, a loud splash was heard. Not quite as loud as someone else might have, but that was just a testament to his powers. He slipped from the water as slippery as an eel, and headed into the forest. Laughing when he came to a stop in the middle of a glade, that is until he spotted something white laying sprawled over the ground. He grabbed his dagger instantly, but even if the man was out cold, he was still a possible threat. Just because he was unconscious, did not mean he wasn't dangerous. He crept over quietly, before kneeling down and brushing his hand over his cheek lightly. His pale skin was soft and warm, so he was still alive, and the small rise and fall of his back only confirmed that.

Thief stood and put his hand on his hip, thinking the situation over carefully. He was not so easily convinced that this man was someone from their world, he didn't look it. He tilted his head wearily. "Although..." he said aloud as he thought, he had been wrong before. Judging from the white hair, he would say he was closer to Hatter in comparison. Well he could deal with this. Lightly, but not enough to inflict severe pain, he kicked the other in the side. "Yo old man, wake the hell up." He was twin to Gilbert in almost every way, except in attitude.

Thief x Break Chara05_xerxes

Even though Xerxes was unconscious, his overly sensitive reflexes still applied. Though however he'd gotten here had knocked him out, at this point he was more asleep than unconscious and the light brush against his cheek was all it took to send him spiraling towards consciousness. Before that foot could connect with his side his eyes snapped open and just as quickly he was on his feet, the sword cane pointing towards his head while Break cheerfully, but warily, took in the man before him and the area around them. He was definitely nowhere near the last place he remembered being. "Hmm...fascinating." He tilted his head and smiled cheerfully. "I say, who might you be my dear boy?~"

Thief x Break Gil4e

Thief jumped back the second that cane came up, his hand curling around his own weapon, which ironically enough looked like some sort of weird sword/gun, decorated in silver and black with a hint of red in it. The man acting like this, did not help the other to relax any, he was used to being in the heat of battle, and the way Thief had jumped back so quickly, made him seem almost like a ghost. "I could ask the same of you, old man." He stated, though his weapon was held merely to defend himself, and his posture not hostile, for the moment. The Thief of Hearts didn't even glance away as he heard footsteps and the unmistakable sound of horse hooves on the barren path coming towards them. He weighed his options carefully, then lowered his weapon and shoved Break swiftly into the bush, actually managing to do so due to his speed, and following suit. He crouched beside him and peered out of the bushes as a blond haired male jumped down from his horse.

"Aww the Thief got away~" Monarch pouted, crossing his arms over his chest, before turning back to the men on the horses. "Search everywhere."

Thief mentally cussed and pressed closer to the other man, putting a finger to his lips to tell him to be quiet. He was blocking out the white coat with his own jacket, black blended in a lot better, he didn't think they were stupid enough, but he was hoping they'd over look the two of them and move on.

Break was rather amused to see the defensiveness of the man across from him. It spoke rather strongly of someone who hadn't really expected him to do so, and apparently didn't know who he was, which was something of a dejavu for Break. Though this person was hardly a Riem. He was about to make some sort of silly introduction when he heard the hooves as well, his eye narrowing. His mouth opened to say something else just before he found himself shoved into a bush. Having more self preservation than most, he didn't even make a gasp of surprise, though he very nearly tried to impale Theif for the sudden movement. He shifted silently and gave the other man something of an annoyed look, but considering he didn't very well know if the other people were any more trustworthy, he just went along with Thief for now. He actually molded his flexible body to better hide behind Thief. What he was wearing now was not his normal sneaking gear...or at least, he had his ninjitsu shield to hide it.

Thief x Break Gil4e

Thief frowned as the men overlooked them just as he hoped they would, staying lower to the ground than normal, and only daring to move when they were long gone. It was why he was able to get around Murderland without being caught. He pulled himself up and dusted off, backing off from the strange man as an added precaution. "Damn..." he muttered rubbing at his throat, he was suddenly really thirsty, and he could go for some food too. He put a hand on his hip and looked to the sky for a moment before letting out a heavy sigh and eying the other a bit suspiciously. "Alright, my name is Kisten, Roleholder the Thief of Hearts." He stated holding his hand out to the other and being professional about this rather than making a big deal of it. "And you are?" He was expecting some sort of retaliation.

Thief x Break 284935

Somehow, with only one eye, break kept a watch on both Thief and the searching men throughout that tense quiet period. He was no more inclined to more any sooner than Thief, only standing up once he did and straitening his clothes, looking entirely harmless. It amused him to see how wary this boy was. He tilted his head and somewhat warily took the others hand when it was offered. "You can Call me Xerxes Break" He wasn't exactly a role holder, whatever that might be, so he simply ignored that pesky part. He could state his contract but you didn't exactly go blabbing that to anyone outside of pandora. "I don't suppose you could tell me where I am?..."

Thief x Break 20070312131555

The breeze that ruffled through the man's hair didn't set well with him, he wasn't too suspicious of Break now, after all, if he were a backstabber he'd of done so by now. He kept his hand on the hilt of his weapon however, his eyes contemplating the question with a manner of discipline. He lifted his gaze from his shoes and his eyes narrowed on the albino male. "Well, let's see..." he took a step forward and rested against one of the tree trunks. He paused and considered the options carefully, before he pushed away from the tree and started heading in the opposite direction of Monarch's castle. "This is Murderland, where everything makes no sense. Deal with it." Thief was never very polite, and the spark in him was absolutely amazing, considering what kind of background he'd come from. "You want back home? Help me out." He stated, his voice was rather velvety. Calming. Though the man himself, was like a firecracker.

Thief x Break Chara05_xerxes

Break waited patiently as ever, rather amused by the sheer paranoia of the man in front of him, it was rather a match for his. It would be safe to say there would be both a lack and excess of trust between them, in the paradox only such levels of paranoia can produce. He raised an eyebrow in mild surprise as the other man started walking away. "murderland..." He said to himself musingly, not bothered by the lack of politeness at all, rather more curious about just what sort of place he stumbled into, assuming of course this wasn't a dream...but considering he'd been to the abyss and traveled through time, what was another world? "neh?~" Break started to follow, he didn't have much else to do and he was very much a curious cat. "help you out how?~"

Thief x Break Gyasi

Thief smirked a bit and turned to look at the other more seriously. "You seem rather skilled, I can tell at a glance." He had quite the eye for talent, which was why he was such a solitary creature, he refused to be anywhere near something that couldn't match him in grace and agility. "How'd you like to work for me for a bit? I'll reward you of course, in any way you wish." He meant in -any- way. There was no disappointments when it came to Thief. He was every bit of a scallion as he looked and acted, there may have been a complete lack of trust, but there was most definitely no need for it, well at least in the young man's opinion. Unlike Raven, he wasn't afraid to get himself a little dirty if it meant he could get the help he desired. "So how bout it? It's fair enough." He could definitely use the extra pair of hands too. "I need to get back some things that were wrongfully taken from me, and get even with a certain Monarch." He glanced at the castle. "You know, I bet it has something to do with you randomly showing up too."

Break stopped and let a bit of a pleased smile grace his lips, giving a little bow at the compliment, whatever it was leading to. He listened rather curiously, again mildly surprised though this time at just how willing Thief was to do anything for these items. He tilted his head and considered it, particularly that last statement of his. It had been quite fascinating that he'd shown up at just that place and time, and after popping out at the reinsworth door, he was not putting such a coincidence out of his mind. "Hmm...perhaps~" He smiled brightly and waved one sleeve nonchalantly. "Well then~ I accept your offer~" He didn't mind doing a little thievery, his morals had changed greatly since he'd been such a proud knight.

Thief x Break Gil4e

"Good, let's get the hell out of here then." He stated, already heading up the road and away from the commotion of earlier. Thief shoved his hands in his pockets, the trail was narrow and lead deep into the woods, but he kept walking, already knowing the desired destination wasn't far from here. Coming to a small but impressive house that was hidden cleverly amongst hills, disguised to look like part of the land rather than a house. He didn't even tell the other to hurry along, knowing he could keep up easily, slipping the door open just enough to enter, and allowing the other to follow suit before shutting and locking it. It was clear that he refused to be any less of a hermit than he gave on, the house was covered in amazing items that were worth a king's gold. The couches were even adorned in expensive velvet and silk. Thief clearly for all his simplicity was not ironically roled.

Break chuckled lightly and rather cheerfully set off after the other man. He didn't rush to keep up with him, mostly because he didn't need to. This was a pretty comfortable pace for the man, which is of course why Thief even considered asking him to do what he did. He didn't stop to stare at the impressively hidden house, though he did memorize their route and make careful note of every detail of the house in the time it took him to walk up and through the door. His eyebrows did raise just a bit as he got a look at the inside though. He smirked and chuckled again. He wouldn't have imagined such finery, not because he didn't think Thief wasn't good at his job, but because it just didn't seem like his style.

Thief x Break Gil4e

The young man pulled his gloves off with his teeth, revealing surprisingly smooth hands, before he flung his coat off and over the chair. He was freaking hungry though, and he just realized he'd never touched a bite of food today. "God damnit." he muttered irritably, heading straight for the kitchen, which was italian decorated, grabbing up the chicken and shoving it in his oven, then digging around for more food. How could he forget to feed himself?! He was more than a little pissed off at himself for that one. Putting his hands on his hips as he watched the green beans boil with a look that could have made the queen fear for her life. "I should really take better care of myself." this was perhaps the only time he sounded like that stupid Raven.

Thief x Break Chara05_xerxes

Break remained where he was, simply leaning up against the wall for a few moments before following the other man curiously to the kitchen, not really entertaining the usual worries about not having normal food here. At the sight of all that food he found himself rather hungry as well and pulled a candy out of his pocket, crunching down on it while he watched with fascination, amusement, and blah. The first two applying to the rather cute and funny boy in front of him, and the last applying to the food he was making. It seemed no matter what world it was they somehow thought green beans were actually a good thing.

Thief x Break Gil4e

Thief finished making the beans, chicken, and some macaroni to go with it. Eating heartily after he was finished, motioning to a plate if the other actually wanted to eat what he made, he was actually a natural in the kitchen, and he even liked his own cooking which was a shocker. He finished after a few moments and let out a sigh of relief, finally full enough to where he was moderately comfortable. He then headed about the kitchen, fixing the mess he'd made in the process, being one for perfect cleanliness. He didn't much appreciate a dirty house, because of the fine things he filled it with, he took great pride in making sure everything was sparkling clean.

Thief x Break Chara05_xerxes

Break was at least somewhat more interested in the rest of what he made. He let Thief get his share before he loaded up on the 'real' stuff. He didn't know how much candy he was going to get here so he'd better save it for emergencies and actually eat food. Other than the beans. He still refused to touch that mush. He took a few bites, making a bit of a pleased noise. This boy would give Gilbert a run for his money, at least in cooking. In just about everything else his poor left eye would be blown out of the water. He ate rather slowly and watched the boy clean, chuckling softly. He wouldn't have pegged him to be the cleaning sort, but it was kinda cute. He finally finished his own meal and gave the plates a brief little wash, putting them away before Thief had a chance to do any of it. Just because.
